WLVBC 2017 Day Camp Program
WLVBC and its Volleyball Technical Director, Joe Norton, have created a unique training opportunity for local club players.
Norton is Assistant Head Coach for George Mason’s men’s volleyball program. He played Outside Hitter for GMU, and participated in USAV’s High Performance program as a junior player. During the 2016-2017 Club Season, Norton worked with WLVBC Club Teams, and will be its non-exclusive Technical Director for 2017-2018, working on building the Western Loudoun program and taking its athletes to another level.
Norton is inviting local college coaches and players to participate in the clinic, ensuring a unique training opportunity for club players looking to enhance their fundamentals.
This will be an advanced level camp where Joe and his team will help players to build on fundamentals, skills, strategic play, dealing with the "mental" part of the game, and of course lots of game play!
We’d love to have you join us! This will be a local, high level training opportunity, with college coaches helping grow your player’s game, while keeping in mind WLVBC’s Motto: When We Serve Well, Good Things Happen.
Date: Monday, June 26th - Thursday, June 29th
Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm daily
Cost: $300 for the week
Location: Foxcroft School, 22407 Foxhound Lane, Middleburg, VA 20117
WLVBC’s Day Camp is coed and open to all players in the region who have previous Club or High School playing experience. This camp is designed for players looking to move beyond the basics, and build on the foundation they have created with their current teams. Players will participate in fast-paced, game-like scenarios, be introduced to game strategy and mental approaches to the game and participate in age-grouped managed play. The program is being designed to ensure coaches have an opportunity to learn your player’s understanding of the game, and begin to build on the foundation they have created.
