WLVBC U14 TEAM RIOT WINS MLK 2019!!!!!!!!

WLVBC U14 Riot wins MLK 2019 in Lancaster, PA!!!  Other WLVBC teams have come close with 2nd and 3rd place finishes, but this is the first time in WLVBC history a team has won 1st place in multi-day tournaments.  Led by Wonder Twins, Coach Dekker and McGuigan (Matt on travel), Team Riot went 9-0 on matches. The Riot exhibited extraordinary passing, serving, attacking and setting skills.  In an unprecedented serving streak, setter Kyla Aubertin recorded 21 straight service points in one set to take the team out to a 21-1 lead.

Our WLVBC Coaches and Staff are Gearing up for a great Club Season!

In Preparation, WLVBC brought in Hosack Volleyball Academy to train our WLVBC coaches. In the spirit of our club motto, we invited local rec, club and High School coaches to join in.  Jay Hosack is GMU’s men’s volleyball head coach, and a former Olympic level coach for both the Men’s and Women’s teams.

His perspectives, insights and experience guided these great coaches through eight hours of invaluable classroom and on-the-court training which they can not wait to put into action.
