Team Goals for the Season

  • Focus and work hard at every practice
  • Team bonding and unity
  • Improve as volleyball players and well rounded athletes over the season
  • Strive to compete well in tournaments but also balance with player development

U14 Boys Head Coach Mike Rosen

Mike played club volleyball at the University of Virginia as a middle hitter, opposite, and finally as a passer and outside hitter. In his final season he helped lead the Cavaliers to an impressive 3rd place finish at the Club National's Tournament and was awarded the Southern Conference Player of the Year. After college Mike continued to play both grass and sand doubles tournaments in the Northeast before moving to San Diego to play beach volleyball exclusively. He achieved the highest amateur beach doubles rating with a AAA rating from the California Beach Volleyball Association and competed in multiple AVP qualifier events.  Mike has coached multiple teams with San Diego's Coast Volleyball Club, Northern Virginia Volleyball Association (NVVA) and AVA Volleyball Club.  He enjoys teaching players to help them reach their full potential and inspiring them to love the game.
